Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja have announced when players can get their hands on the next Ninja Gaiden game.  Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is set for release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC February 28, 2014 in Europe and March 4, 2014 in North America.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will be a huge departure from the franchise norm.  Rather than playing as Ryu Hayabusa, players take on the role of cyborg ninja Yaiba.  Brandishing his deadly ninja sword, nothing will stand in the way of his revenge as he slaughters zombies.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is the product of Team Ninja and Keiji Inafune teaming up.  The game's art style was designed to feel like a living comic book.  Players will get to enjoy ripping apart zombies with a combination of Yaibia's sword, cyborg arm and other creative means.  All of that zombie blood will look especially good with the comic book art style.

Keiji Inafune is the legendary creator of the Resident Evil franchise.  Resident Evil ushered zombies back into the world of video games and is one of the best selling franchises in the world.  Team Ninja is best known for its Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises.  Mixing the talents of both zombies and Ninja Gaiden could create a fun and insane game.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is out February 28, 2014 in Europe and March 4, 2014 in North America for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
