Sega announced today that Yakuza 6: The Song of Life’s release date has been pushed back to April 17, but don’t worry there is good news too.

Below is the statement in-full from the Yakuza twitter account:

Pushing back a games release date is never an easy decision, but if it means getting all the ducks in a row, an extra month of waiting won’t hurt. With the added bonus of a demo for Yakuza 6 available on February 27, that should hold fans over.

With more news on the way in the coming weeks, there should be plenty to follow as Yakuza 6: Song of Life gets ready for release to Western audiences. Stick around for all that information in the coming weeks.
