WWF WrestleFest was one of the most revered wrestling games in the early '90s and has remained the gold standard for arcade-style wrestling games to many. WWE's warehouse still has a cabinet of the game in it to this day and the game was given a mobile revamp in 2011 that didn't quite capture its greatness, but there has been a lot of interest in a spiritual successor. Thankfully, Retrosoft Studios has been working on one in the form of RetroMania Wrestling - with two of WrestleFest's stars in it already. Hawk and Animal of the Road Warriors were the first two announced members of the roster, and now a modern-day star in Zack Sabre Jr. has been announced as well.

ZSJ's star has been on the rise for the last five years, with his work on WWE's cruiserweight classic a few years ago being his first real shot at mainstream success in North America. Since then, he has become a massive part of New Japan Pro Wrestling's Suzuki-gun stable and won the 2018 New Japan Cup tournament. He's one of the finest technical wrestlers in the world, which makes his inclusion in an arcade-style game that much more interesting. He certainly does moves, but his style is more a "music between the notes" approach to wrestling, and it will be interesting to see how that translates to the game.
