Kids of the '90s have fond memories of a loud announcer going CCCCOOMBBOOOOO BRREEAKKKKEERRR and thanks to Double Helix, new memories can be forged with the reboot. The loud announcer returns, but thankfully, the original franchise's clunky gameplay is gone. In its place is a game that playthe team at Double Helix wound up greatly surpassing Rare's efforts nearly two decades ago with a game that doesn't just look amazing, but controls smoothly with the revamped d-pad and more responsive controls. The Xbox One's power allows the game to look better than a current-gen fighter. |
