I’m not really sure where Second Son came from. Announced back in February, many pushed it aside as a spinoff that probably wouldn’t live up to its predecessors. Even though it looks to play like previous installments in the PS3 franchise, it contains a more likeable character and some of the most gorgeous visuals that no YouTube video could do it justice. Tons of variety in combat and astonishing destructible environments surmounts to an experience gamers need to see and play first hand. It’s really a shame this isn’t a launch title, but it certainly will be a great start to 2014 and a strong indicator of what’s to come. |
