Crysis is back and (like always) pushing the boundaries of PCs everywhere. Of course, there's more to Crysis than just graphics and Crysis 3 features one the most intriguing stories yet. Set in 2047, players will assume the role of Prophet as he returns to New York City to find it has been covered by a giant dome nicknamed "The Liberty Dome". The Cell Corporation has apparently domed all of Earth's major cities, which have been taken over by nature. You won't see a bustling city, but instead one overgrown with vines, swamps, canyons and more. You'll be squaring off against aliens as well as the humans foolishly trying to use the alien tech.

Like all Crysis titles, players choose their style of play. If you prefer being stealthy, you can turn invisible and sneak around. Those who want to blast their way through the Dome can simply turn on armor, throw on a big gun and get to work. The wide open areas of Crysis III will facilitate your play method better than ever before.

The visuals look absolutely fantastic. To be fair, we demoed the game on what we assume to be a top-of-the-line Alienware PC, but it ran completely seamless and the nature elements looked incredibly realistic. To ease our qualms, the developer assured that it would look "fantastic" on PS3 and 360 as well. The guns are (pun intended) a blast to use and you can even hack turrets to assist you through difficult areas. The game will feature new weapons which have yet to be detailed.

Coming in February 2013, get ready to upgrade your PC yet again.
