With the announcement of Final Fantasy XV's delay yesterday, Tabata announced that a thirty minute video will be shown at Gamescom today and that footage has actually dropped, but it's actually twenty extra minutes of what was proclaimed. The video demonstrates the first few hours of the game starting with Prince Noctis and his crew defending their city from a gang of thieves trying to steal the kingdom's crystal.

From there, we see various missions and short story pieces throughout the game, but never seeing them in their entirety as the video makes quick cuts to the next segment. Both PlayStation and Xbox button prompts are shown throughout the video implying we're seeing footage from both versions.

This version of the game shown is the master version that Tabata stated was just finished, but will not be shipping on September 30, due to technical issues. We see none of these problems in the fifty minutes of gameplay that would call for a day one patch, but Square Enix would unlikely want to make their game look bad to the audience at Gamescom and on the web.
