After an announcement two weeks prior, Psyonix has released patch 1.24 for all versions of Rocket League, which, amongst other things, includes the free new underwater stage AquaDome as well as two new cars.

As shown in the trailer below, the AquaDome arena is heavily inspired by the Bioshock franchise, and is the game’s second standard stage released post-launch alongside the Utopia Coliseum. Two new DLC Battle-Cars, Proteus and Triton, are now also available to purchase for $2 a vehicle. Additionally, as is the case with most Rocket League updates, a handful of new cosmetic items have been added, most with an underwater theme, and some of which are only available to those who purchased the aforementioned DLC cars. Seven new achievements have also been implemented, as well as a higher tier of the recently introduced Champion Crates, visual upgrades for the Road Hog and Hotshot vehicles, and a change to the way the Spikes item works in Rocket League’s latest added-on mode, Rumble. Finally, two of the experimental stages available in the Rocket Labs playlist, Cosmic and Octagon, have both been updated, with most of the fixes attempting to adjust the stages to reflect aspects of most standard maps.

Rocket League is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with cross-play available between either of the console versions and PC. For more on the constant updates Psyonix is bringing to Rocket League, keep it locked here to Hardcore Gamer.
