The Call of Duty series has a long history of using live-action commercials to attract consumer attention. Like the series itself, they often base their appeal on absurd fun rather than serious stories or situations. The newest trailer for Call of Duty: WWII's first DLC Pack, The Resistance, is no different. It's no replacer, but still good for a chuckle or two.

The Resistance DLC will be adding a new war mode map called "Operation: Intercept," a new chapter for Zombies mode titled "The Darkest Shore" and three new multiplayer maps:

Arthropoid - This map is set in Prague, Czechoslovakia and is inspired by an actual operation known by the same name. The map features long lines of site and plenty of avenues for flanking the competition.

Valkyrie - Named for the most famous failed attempt on Hitler's life, this map is set in "The Wolf's Lair" the headquarters for all eastern front operations during the war.

Occupation - A remake of an original Call of Duty map, this map is set in the streets of occupied Paris. It's chock-full of store fronts and house that can be put to good use as defensive positions.

Call of Duty: WWII - The Resistance DLC will launch on January 30 for PS4. The Xbox One and PC release will likely follow shortly after.
