As the Summer days roll by, we get closer and closer to finally being able to fully play Ninja Theory's much-anticipated "independent triple-A" action-adventure game, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. And to tide us over just a bit more until its August release, Ninja Theory have released a new trailer showing off the inclusion of Hela in this game, which you can check out below (and yes, Hela is pronounced exactly the way it sounds, but we decided to forego the obvious puns).

Those of you familiar with Norse mythology (or Thor comics) should recognize that name as an extension of Hel, the name of both the underworld where the dead dwell and the goddess who rules over it. Indeed, the trailer shows some rather nightmarish visions of Senua experiencing her own Hel, being tormented by multitudes of voices while a monstrous giant (most likely Hela herself) approaches, all while having to question her own sanity and reality. It looks like great stuff that should make for part of an impressive game, so here's looking forward to finally getting our hands on Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice when it comes out on August 8 for PC and PS4.
