Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is giving a fresh coat of paint to a game that was already pretty stunning upon release, as evidenced by the new story trailer for the game Sega released today.

The updated PS4 version of the 2008 PS3 tactical RPG is looking quite sharp, with its anime stylings really taking advantage of the smoother edges provided by the more powerful hardware. The original game became a something of a cult hit, so a cleaned-up version should be much appreciated by fans and newcomers alike.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered already hit Japan on February 10, but will be coming to the rest of the world on May 17.
