The last time we had reported on Piece of Cake Studios' upcoming two-player game Hacktag, it was entering its open beta with an Early Access version to follow on June 1. And lo and behold, today saw Hacktag hitting Steam with its Early Access version as promised, complete with a new trailer, which you can check out below.

As seen in the trailer and discussed before, Hacknet has a rather unique setup as a co-op stealth game. One player is directly infiltrating various offices, knocking out guards, hacking certain terminals in person, and more, while the other is a hacker remotely traveling along a grid laid out over the same area, opening doors for the other character, disabling cameras, breaking through firewalls, and the like. So the two need to work together perfectly in order to steal the data needed and succeed, and it appears to make for what could definitely be some fun co-op action. If you're interested, feel free to check it out on Steam beginning today.
