Microsoft's E3 2021 showcased featured some expected hits like Starfield, but also a new IP in the form of Contraband. Coming from Avalanche Studios of Just Cause fame, it looks to offer up a a world that blends a bit of the past in various eras present with a record player being used and a world that feels like it's the '40s with its reel to reel technology, but with military plans laid out on a desk and a rotary phone out of the '70s and '80s.

It's a co-op open-world adventure and from the vehicles shown off, it looks like vehicular movement will be featured as well. Unfortunately, there was no gameplay shown off -- but the world they're building up looks interesting. As time goes on, we'll be keeping a close eye on this one.
