After being announced during Sony's E3 press conference earlier this year, the remasters of the original trilogy of platforming classic Crash Bandicoot has returned with new gameplay, details, and an official title.

Vicarious Visions, who had worked on some of the more modern Crash titles and most recently have worked on the Skylanders franchise, showed off the first gameplay for Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy at PSX this weekend, which can be found in the trailer below. In a post over on the PlayStation Blog, the developer went into further depth on what they are calling a "remaster plus", which includes rebuilt levels, characters, and cinematics with heavy inspirations from the original games. The "plus" justification comes from the added inclusion of a unified checkpoint and save system, and new time trials for all three games.

Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy will be playable this weekend at the PlayStation Experience, and out next year for everyone else on PS4.
