The first round of DLC for DariusBurst Chronicle Saviours was announced to be a crowd-pleasing collection of ships and levels based on Taito's shooter history, and round two follows up by dipping into the Sega archive.  Galaxy Force II fits in easily to the Darius style, but it will be interesting to see how Space Harrier's human-holding-a-glowing-bagpipe-gun works in horizontal scrolling.  The real treat is the return of Fantasy Zone, which is easily one of the best forgotten games in Sega's arsenal and should convert perfectly to a bit of robo-fish shooting.  New new ships clock in at $4.99 apiece or $11.99 for all three, divided up between the Sega and Taito three-packs, and both become available March 17 if everything goes as planned.  While the ships are only available in their specific DLC levels you can also use any you've unlocked from the main game in there as well.  DariusBurst Chronicle Saviours is already a huge game with a few thousand (literally, 3,000+) levels available, but getting a chance to revisit shooter history makes the upcoming DLC an incredibly tempting prospect.
