THQ Nordic has confirmed that the PS4 Pro and PC versions of Darksiders: Warmastered Edition will support 4K.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition is less than a week from release on PS4 and Xbox One, and THQ Nordic has revealed some extra functionality for those with a PS4 Pro or a powerful enough PC. Both versions of the game will support 4K resolutions, though the publisher didn’t mention whether the PS4 Pro version will be native 4K. THQ Nordic also confirmed that they intend to release more 4K games in the future.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition is a remaster of Darksiders, which launch back in 2010 on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. This remastered version features a native 1080p on all platforms, improved rendering, and doubled texture resolutions. The PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions will all run at 60fps, and the Wii U version will run at 30fps.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition is out November 22 on PS4 and Xbox One, November 29 on PC, and sometime in the near future on Wii U.
