It seems that developer Bungie has taken a lot of fan criticism of the original Destiny to heart and for the sequel are making a number of changes to make their hardcore players happy.

One such change that should please fans of the game who wanted more lore within the shooter comes by way of removing the out of game Grimoire card system and replacing it with more in game lore.

In an interview with Forbes, Bungie's World Lead, Steve Cotton said, "we want people to be able to find the lore. All the story is told through the Adventures, it's told through the characters in the world, it's told through the campaign and it's told through scannables you find throughout the world."

One the biggest critiques of year one Destiny was the lack of a cohesive story so hopefully this change will be able to introduce more story elements into the base game this time around.
