Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have quite a nice surprise for Deus Ex fans.  Deus Ex: The Fall, which was originally set for launch next week, has been made available for PC through Steam today.

Deus Ex: The Fall is a spin-off of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.  You play as Ben Saxon, a former member of the British SAS turned Augmented Mercenary.  Originally developed for iOS and Android devices, Eidos Montreal has worked hard to bring the game to PC.

Thanks to the more powerful architecture of PCs, Eidos was able to enhance the gameplay, improve the AI and bump up the graphics.  Mouse and keyboard and gamepad controls are included.  Thanks to Steam, you'll be getting achievements and trading cards.  As a limited time bonus, anyone who buys Deus Ex: The Fall will get Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition for free (This is the original Deus Ex, not Human Revolution).
