Square Enix has revealed the final roster for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT at launch.

When Dissidia Final Fantasy NT launches on PS4 early next year, players will get 28 different characters from across the Final Fantasy franchise to play with. The Final Fantasy fighter comes packing with characters from past entries (Warrior of Light, Terra, The Emperor, etc.), recent entries (Tidus, Lightning, Noctis, etc.), and characters that aren't even part of the mainline series (Ramza, Ace). Along with the large cast of characters, the game comes packed with seven summons just waiting to be unleashed.

Here's every character and what game they're from:

  1. Warrior of Light (Final Fantasy)
  2. Garland (Final Fantasy)
  3. Firion (Final Fantasy II)
  4. The Emperor (Final Fantasy II)
  5. Onion Knight (Final Fantasy III)
  6. Cloud of Darkness (Final Fantasy III)
  7. Cecil (Final Fantasy IV)
  8. Kain (Final Fantasy IV)
  9. Golbez (Final Fantasy V)
  10. Bartz (Final Fantasy V)
  11. Exdeath (Final Fantasy V)
  12. Terra (Final Fantasy VI)
  13. Kefka (Final Fantasy VI)
  14. Cloud (Final Fantasy VII)
  15. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII)
  16. Squall (Final Fantasy VIII)
  17. Ultimecia (Final Fantasy VIII)
  18. Zidane (Final Fantasy IX)
  19. Kuja (Final Fantasy IX)
  20. Tidus (Final Fantasy X)
  21. Jecht (Final Fantasy X)
  22. Shantotto (Final Fantasy XI)
  23. Vaan (Final Fantasy XII)
  24. Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII)
  25. Y’shtola (Final Fantasy XIV)
  26. Noctis (Final Fantasy XV)
  27. Ace (Final Fantasy Type-0)
  28. Ramza (Final Fantasy Tactics)

Square Enix has already confirmed that an additional six characters will be added as DLC. Conspicuously, six characters from the previous Dissidia titles did not make the cut. These are Gilgamesh (V), Tifa (VII), Laguna (VIII), Yuna (X), Prishe (XI), and Gabranth (XII). Hopefully, these characters will be added in over time, but not as paid content. It would be nice for those DLC spots to be reserved for characters that haven't been in a Dissidia game yet. Considering that only four of the 28 fighters are new to the franchise, Dissidia could really use some new blood.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is out January 30, 2018 on PS4.
