Dotemu Bringing Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Ghoul Patrol to Switch

The original Zombies Ate My Neighbors was a 16-bit cult classic – and one that has seen various ROM hacks and spiritual successors, but little in the way of a re-release. ZAMN allowed for co-op play with a Gauntlet-style frantic pace and a lot of send-ups of horror movie tropes. It was followed up later with Ghoul Patrol – which did the same kind of thing, but not quite as well. The games have been beloved by all who played them since then, and we’ll be seeing them for the first time since the Wii’s Virtual Console – now with achievements, soundtrack, and museum content. Lucasfilm Classic Games: Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol will be released on June 29.
