During this afternoon's Nintendo Direct, it was announced that Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten will be coming to 3DS in early Summer 2016. Further details about the game were not given, but it looks to give a nice graphical boost to the PS1 classic.

Dragon Quest VIII will also be released for the platform in 2016.
