No More Robots has certainly helped published a few quirky indie titles so far, but Fashion Police Squad might be one that takes the cake. Coming from Finnish developers Mopeful Games, it's a shooter where you use the weapons at your disposal in order to fire away and solve the biggest crimes possible...crimes against fashion. Well, they're the biggest crimes in the game's setting of Trendopolis, anyway. You can check out the game's reveal trailer below, which shows off some of the initial gameplay.

It may seem rather comedic, of course, but there does seem to be the potential for some rather deep gameplay thanks to the key weapon-switching mechanic. Each of the various fashion disasters you see - socks with sandals, saggy pants, loose suits, et cetera - are fixed with their own unique fashion-enhancing weapons, like the Belt of Justice or the 2DYE4 Carbine Elite. So trying to figure out the right combo of weapons to use in each scenario is the key to victory, and brings you one step closer to the Parole Ball, where you can see your former convicts strut their stuff on the runway. Throw in a single-player campaign that has a full story and a lot to discover in the game's world, plus an impressive use of pixel art, and Fashion Police Squad just might be set to look stunning when it arrives for the PC in 2022.
