Titanfall 2, the upcoming first-person shooter title from developer Respawn Entertainment, has received new trailer ahead of publisher Electronic Arts’ E3 media briefing.

The trailer, which is posted below, focuses specifically on Titanfall 2’s single-player mode, a new feature that was previously unavailable in the first Titanfall.

As well as confirming a single-player component in Titanfall 2, the trailer has also let slip the release date for the title, which is currently set for October 28, 2016.

“Pilot and Titan unite as never before in Respawn Entertainment’s highly anticipated Titanfall 2,” reads the description from the trailer. “Featuring a crafted single-player campaign that explores the unique bond between man and machine, players will step on to The Frontier as a Militia rifleman with aspirations of becoming a Pilot.

“Stranded behind IMC enemy lines, and against overwhelming odds, you must team up with a veteran Vanguard-class Titan and uphold a mission you were never meant to carry out.”

Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella tweeted that the single-player reveal was scheduled to take place at EA Play today, but a “snafu” resulted in the trailer being leaked.

“Gonna put up the high-quality version of the trailer early now, so you can at least watch a better version,” Zampella added in another tweet.

EA and Respawn Entertainment announced the successor to Titanfall back in April, confirming that Titanfall 2 would be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
