It wasn't that long ago players were treated to a wonderful remaster of the original Resident Evil title, so it comes as no surprise that the second is receiving the same treatment. Leon returns in his debut title once more as players defend the city from the undead and protect those still among the living as long as he can.

Resident Evil 2 Remake will release early next year on January 25 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Check out the announcement trailer below:
