EA unveiled a new trailer today for EA Sports UFC 2 revealing new fighting positions, fighter gear, a new playable legend, and a release date. The trailer showcases a slew of new positions to fight in - including transitional ones that haven't been seen before in a game. The collision detection also looks far better, and Bas Rutten was shown very quickly doing his signature split pose. Mid-air kicks from things like the Showtime Kick and a cage-assisted Superman punch are now possible, and the Holm-Rousey finish can be recreated as well, with Holm being shown landing a sick neck kick to KO Rousey in the game.

The game is available for pre-order now, and getting it on day one grants you access to Bas Rutten, the legendary Sakuraba (who was recently on both the RIZIN Fighting Federation as well as the New Japan Pro Wrestling Wrestle Kingdom 10 shows), and an unspecified mystery fighter. EA Sports UFC 2 will be released on March 15 on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game itself was just announced fairly recently, and this comes off as almost a stealth release since it's only two months away.
