Kickstarter-powered Divinity: Original Sin 2 will include an Early Access, playable demo for those who just can't wait to get their hands on this upcoming isometric RPG. Sequel to the critically successful Divinity: Original Sin, Original Sin 2 is planned to build on all the areas lacking in the previous game. Endeavoring to make it as much an improvement as possible, Larian Studios have planned to have player choice-generated content, immersive co-op integration, and some smooth, old-fashioned tactical RPG depth.

Before anyone jumps on the chance for access to this early version of the game, it should be known that it is only available for Kickstarter backers for the time being. The preview build will include the first act of the game: Fort Joy. Players take on the role of a Sourcerer in the terrible, dangerous, ironically-named starting area. Fans of the original Original Sin will remember that hunting Sourcerers was initially their primary in-game objective in the first game. Eligible Kickstarter backers will gain access to the Early Access build later on by following instructions coming to their emails later this week. Fans more interested in being at the head of the game can go make a Larian Vault account and hook it up to their Kickstarter or PayPal account.

See below for the Early Access Announcement trailer. The Divinity: Original Sin 2 Early Access starts September 15.
