Life is Strange: True Colors was revealed earlier this year, and where the first game used time travel and the second game used telekinesis, the superpower acting as the key mechanic/plot element this time around is a psychic empathy-based power. And at Square Enix's E3 showcase, we got to see more of it in action. Our protagonist Alex Chen can find the brightly-colored auras of others, revealing insights and secrets that can lead to new dialogue options, not to mention deeper relationships with the citizens of Haven Springs. Particularly strong auras can even create novas, which actually alter Alex's world in order to represent the current state someone is in, allowing you to help them out even further. As expected, what you see and learn with these powers will play into several important decisions Alex has to make over the course of the game...especially when it comes to potentially absorbing any dangerous auras. Life is Strange: True Colors comes out on September 10 for PC, PS5, XSX, PS4, XB1, and Stadia.
