Petroglyph, a developer founded by many Westwood Studios alumni, has just released a new game onto Steam. Forged Battalion is the name and it'll definitely excite fans of the classic Command & Conquer series.

Playable in story mode or in an online multiplayer brawl, players customize their own factions. This means determining what units, factories and even the economy that will be in play. This leads to another layer of strategy on top of the expected RTS action.

Forged Battalion is on Early Access right now and is planned to remain there for at least six months. It's available with a launch week discount of $16.99.
