With Everybody's Gone To The Rapture on its way to PS4 in about a week, the launch trailer has been released today that not only shows the solitude of the world in the game, but also gives some insight into the story.

As you can see, you will be led around by the little orbs of light, which will sometimes turn in to silhouettes of human figures to give you more of a context for what they are trying to show you. To hear the conversations between characters, maybe you'll need to pick up audio logs or something, but that mechanic has yet to be shown. As this will be the final piece of news we get before the game's release, that mechanic won't be shown, and players will have to figure it out on their own. Most of this game remains a mystery, which must be their intention, and that is exciting, because that means players will not know what to expect, much like Gone Home for instance.
