While the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. videos are giving fans of the Fallout series plenty of fodder to wet their whistles with, there's something about seeing a Pip Boy in action that makes all of the insane RPG systems of a Fallout game feel real. The latest trailer for the highly anticipated game details its character system, which is about as deep as you would expect from a game that most players will sink roughly 100 hours into.

There will be seventy base perks in Fallout 4, each corresponding to a specific S.P.E.C.I.A.L. statistic and a given base level of that stat (ranging from 1-10). Combine this will all of the fun things that you'll be looking at on your Pip Boy (which appears to have a ton of awesome animations that you can enjoy, and Fallout 4 is clearly going to be an extremely stats-driven title.
