Games have been trying to sugar-coat exercise since the days of the NES, and the results have always been limited. Even companies like Nintendo have made a couple of attempts at getting their customers moving, first with Wii Fit and more recently with Ring Fit Adventures. Now, Bandai Namco is taking their shot with Family Trainer, a game that leverages the Joy-Con to take its players on fitness adventures.
Family Trainer allows for both competitive and cooperative play in addition to solo activities, so it might just have a chance to get more players on their feet. Will playing it make one more healthy though? Maybe, maybe not. It at least looks like a fun time either way though.
Family Trainer launches for Nintendo Switch on September 3.
