Known for taking players to far away exotic locations, Far Cry 5 will take place on American soil for the first time in the series. Set in the fictional Hope County of Montana, a doomsday cult has taken over the community and placed them under siege, cutting them off from the rest of the world.

This newly released trailer focuses on the Resistance, the friends the player will meet in Hope County to help take on these murderous fanatics. Far Cry 5 will be released March 27 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Some recent impressions on an early build can be read in this preview.
