Ubisoft today announced a special livestream to debut Far Cry 6 gameplay.

Players won't need to wait until the Ubisoft Forward event on June 12 to get their first taste of Far Cry 6. That's because Ubisoft is pulling the curtain back on the upcoming title on May 28 at 9:30am PDT. At that time, we'll get our first look at Far Cry 6 gameplay.

Far Cry 6 was first announced last year during an Ubisoft Forward stream. The game drops players into Yara, a tropical paradise run by a dictator, Anton Castillo, who aims at restoring his nation's glory by any means. You become a guerrilla fighter aiming to take down his regime. Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad) lends his talent, bringing Anton Castillo to life.

Far Cry 6 remains without a release date at the moment. It's currently set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia. The PS4 and Xbox One versions include free upgrades to the next-gen versions.
