Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata and marketing manager Akio Ofuji announced today an official release date for the new update heading to Final Fantasy XV’s demo, Episode Duscae.

During the latest instalment of Active Time Report, Tabata and Ofuji confirmed that the patch, dubbed ‘Version 2.0,’ would be available on June 9 at 8 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. GMT) for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0 will feature new improvements based on the Episode Duscae survey feedback that Tabata and Ofuji focused upon in the previous episode of Active Time Report.

Access to Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae requires a special downloadable code that was exclusively bundled with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.

Active Time Report, which Square Enix announced last month, also featured a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0 (see below), with protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum and his three companions -- Gladiolus Amicitia, Ignis Stupeo Scientia and Prompto Argentum -- battling with all sorts of creatures and enemies located in the Duscae region.
