Today Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV’s upcoming expansion titled “Comrades” fitting for a multiplayer title. The release date is also given for the upcoming expansion and it’s just around the corner, Final Fantasy XV “Comrades” will be arriving October 31 for PS4 and Xbox One with a PC version of FFXV arriving in early 2018.

The trailer prominently plays a brand-new score for FFXV titled “Choosing Hope” by composer Nobuo Uematsu with vocals by Japanese vocalist Emiko Suzuki.

Comrades will have its own story and features, this includes being a member of the Kingsglaive, having players equip the “royal sigil” which grans special powers from the Lucian bloodline. From there players can take on a variety of quests, whether multiplayer or single player, players will need to strategize and coordinate creating balanced teams for the most fun and diverse play.

Playing as survivors of the Kingsglaive, players will be tasked with investigating Noctis’ whereabouts after the events of FFXV’s chapter thirteen. Of course, the rest of the FFXV cast will make their appearance too, and will be playable in future updates.
