Bandai Namco and Square Enix are teaming up to give Tekken 7 players a huge Final Fantasy surprise.

Bandai Namco has a long history of integrating guest characters into it's fighting games, and Tekken 7 is no different. Street Fighter's Akuma launched with the game, and now a new guest character from another Japanese publisher is joining the King of the Iron Fist Tournament.

Final Fantasy XV main protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum is officially entering the Tekken 7 ring. Bandai Namco is going to great lengths to replicate Noctis' fighting style within the Tekken 7 fighting engine, and they appear to be getting it right. Armed with his Engine Blade, Noctis can summon his weaponry when in the right situation, and even utilize magic. It also looks like Cidney's Garage is being added as a brand new arena.

Noctis Lucis Caelum enters this ring spring 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Tekken 7 is available now on all three platforms.
