With two days to go before the end of its Kickstarter campaign, Friday the 13th: The Game has surpassed its funding goal of $700,000.

Friday the 13th: The Game is being developed by Gun Media, a studio known for the Breach & Clear mobile games, is an asymmetric multiplayer game where seven players act as camp counselors trying to survive the night while one player takes on the role of Jason Voorhees as he stalks and murders his way to victory. The game takes place in the "semi-open world" of Camp Crystal Lake and aims to be a horror experience true to the films.

Gun Media hopes to release Friday the 13th: The Game in October 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can watch interviews with the developers on the game's Kickstarter page, and as you could probably guess, the campaign will end this Friday, November 13.
