Guillermo Del Toro Talks More About the Silent Hills That Could’ve Been

Speaking with IGN, Guillermo Del Toro has revealed more about Silent Hills, the game he and famed Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima were collaborating on before it was canceled by developer Konami.

In the video, Del Toro talks about how he’s “a bull in a china shop” in Japan, singing Spanish versions of Japanese songs in karaoke bars, the manga influences at play in Silent Hills, and how he and Kojima planned to incite “full-blown social madness” in players using the power of the latest consoles.

Unfortunately, nothing will bring back Silent Hills, but it’s fun to hear about what it could’ve been.
