While it was delayed past the launch of the Xbox Series X, we're still eagerly awaiting the next installment into the beloved Halo franchise. During Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase, the publisher revealed brand new multiplayer gameplay for the upcoming shooter.

The gameplay looks significantly improved over its initial reveal which was not well received. Halo Infinite will feature an open world on a Halo Ring, with all the combat we've come to love from the series. A brand new scene from the upcoming game was also showed, introducing Master Chief to his brand new AI companion at his side.

Unfortunately, not official release date outside of a Holiday 2021 window was given for Halo Infinite.
