In collaboration with Jam City, Portkey Games has announced Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.
Hogwarts Mystery is an RPG got mobile devices where players can create their own character and experience life at Hogwarts. You’ll personalize your own avatar, attend classics, learn all forms of magic, and develop your own friendships and rivalries. Those attending the A Celebration of Harry Potter event a Universal Studios in Orlando from January 26-28 will get a sneak peek at the game, listen in on panels, and receive some exclusive swag.
“Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is a role playing experience about magic, friendship, and life as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,” said Chris DeWolfe, co-founder and CEO of Jam City. “We can’t wait to give fans a first look at the game at A Celebration of Harry Potter, and this spring players will be able to explore Hogwarts fully in their journey toward becoming a witch or wizard.”
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery takes place during the time after Harry Potter’s birth and before his enrollment in Hogwarts. While playing, you’ll do everything a Hogwarts student does. You’ll be sorted into a house, choose a magical pet, and solve mysteries. How you choose to approach life at Hogwarts will have a direct impact on your character’s legacy.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery hits iOS and Android devices sometime in 2018.
