The Bradford Animation Festival has recognized the genius and talent of Hideo Kojima for his contributions in video games by presenting him with the inaugural Bradford UNESCO City of Film Award for Cinematography in Video Games.
This chalks up another victory for the “video games are art/interactive entertainment” camp. Looks like those super long cutscenes in Metal Gear Solid did some good across the boards.
