Along with a new trailer for the game, developer Deep Silver has outlined what Homefront: The Revolution's co-op mode will look like when it releases this spring.

The trailer focuses on character creation, weapon customization, and the story behind the game. An enthusiastic voiceover plays throughout, and talks about how the revolutionaries won't give up. They sneak into the speech how they will make their weapons and gear better, while showing how that will work in game.

If you didn't on your first viewing, you might notice a glimpse into the co-op mode, called "Resistance Mode," in the trailer on your second. All it shows, really, is a group of four players going through different types of missions, but the concept is there. According to Deep Silver, these missions will focus on guerrilla combat and a narrative thread, meaning that sneakiness will be rewarded, and that the world of Homefront will expand through these missions.

"We expect to launch Resistance Mode with 12 Missions, packed with re-playability, and hope to release another 20 Missions within the first year," said Hasit Zala, game director at Dambuster Studios. "To ensure our community can always play together, all Resistance Mode Missions will be free to download."

Alongside the trailer, a bunch of screenshots were released featuring the Resistance Mode. If you check them out below, you'll notice the four player setup, the character/weapon customization options, and even some small objectives featured. Escorting convoys, taking strongholds, and messing with the KPA are just a few, and hopefully soon we'll get to see some more.
