Easy Trigger Games' run-and-gun throwback Huntdown was arguably one of last year's best games, racking up a ton of positive reviews and awards, even getting a couple of nominations when it came to our own Best of 2020 awards. Its PC version was exclusive to the Epic Games Store, though, and given the platform's divisiveness, it's possible more than a few players haven't been able to enjoy the '80s carnage presented by the game. Well, now there's no excuse to not check it out anymore, as Huntdown is now available on Steam and GOG.

Huntdown isn't arriving on these platforms without anything new, though. The game's soundtrack is available now as well, with Steam offering it in a bundle alongside the game. Online multiplayer has been added as well, allowing you team up with a friend to cause some mayhem, even if the two of you live worlds apart. The most important addition, though, and the one prominently showcased in the below trailer alongside several accolades, is that of an Arcade Mode. Like the classic coin-op titles the game draws inspiration from, here it's all about the high score, using various combos and bonuses in order to collect bounties as quickly as possible in order to try and top the leaderboard. Huntdown is available now on all major platforms, ready to scratch your adrenaline-craving itch.
