Japanese Pokémon Sun and Moon Trailer Establishes the Excitement of the Series

With Pokémon’s huge news breaking earlier today, many fans seem disappointed with the announcement while others are truly ecstatic. Whichever way you feel is okay, but you can’t deny the amount of excitement this new generation of Pokémon will build.

The footage shows a young boy, Shohei, moving all the way from Japan to live in America. As the new kid in school, he is quite shy around his classmates. However after learning about the launch of Pokémon Sun and Moon it looks like everyone in his entire class are fans of the series. They are playing their new games in a park when Shohei approaches them and exclaims his excitement for the game in broken English. Everyone enjoys their new Pokémon and quickly become friends.

That is the entire message or hope for the Pokémon series. The director of the games, Junichi Masuda, posted on his blog that he wants everyone to enjoy, be surprised and be happy.  This isn’t just about the new titles coming out but a vision for the Pokémon series as a whole. It even breaks down language barriers. This is a franchise that has been in existence for twenty years and in that time frame it has brought people from all walks of life together.

After viewing Japan’s latest video to promote the upcoming titles, we found it very touching and can’t wait for what for even more information to be revealed. Check it out below to view Shohei’s story and learn a bit about Pokémon Sun and Moon.
