Stepping a little bit away from its long legacy, the latest in the King of Fighters 2D fighter series uses 3D models over sprites to portray the versatile movements of the characters. Fans who missed their change to try out SNK Playmore's latest fighting game, King of Fighters XIV, at last year's PSX may be able to get their hands on it at the Taipei Game Show 2016. An annual video game expo in Taipei, Taiwan, Taipei Game Show runs from January 29, through February 2. Unlike most other conventional 2D fighting games, King of Fighters XIV will have a six player game mode called Party Battle, complimented with a fifty character roster.

See the PSX trailer for King of Fighter XIV below. King of Fighters XIV is currently set to release on PlayStation 4, with no announced release date as of yet.
