After fading from the market early last year, Mad Catz Global Limited made a surprise announcement today that it’s back and ready to wow the gaming populace with  brand new lines of high-end gaming peripherals. According to the announcement post on the Mad Catz website, the company is under new management and is now targeting the higher-end of the peripheral market.  These products include new iterations of their R.A.T. mice, S.T.R.I.K.E. keyboards, F.R.E.Q. gaming headsets and G.L.I.D.E. gaming surfaces; all of which will be getting showcased at CES 2018. A short video showcasing each of these new products accompanied the announcement.

Most gamers remember Mad Catz as the company behind many of the…cheaper versions for most console controllers, so it’s likely that company will have a bit of work ahead of them as they strive to re-market themselves as a seller of high-quality goods. More information about each of the new lines of Mad Catz products can be found on their site, so interested players have plenty of time between now and this year’s CES to decide of they want to become customers again.
