The original Mega Man Legacy Collection was released in August of 2015, and Capcom has just unveiled its successor. Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will include the SNES-era Mega Man 7, the PS1/Saturn Mega Man 8, along with the Wii/360/PS3 games Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10. The latter two games would be making their PC and PlayStation 4 debuts here, but Xbox One owners can play the Xbox 360 versions via backwards compatibility. This is a solid collection of games, but it's quite surprising to see a mere four titles included in it. The original Mega Man Collection on the PS2 included more games - and even had bonus games included. This collection doesn't even fully finish up the mainline Mega Man series as Mega Man and Bass isn't included despite being available on two devices - the Super Famicom and Game Boy Advance, with the latter being in English.

There's no word on whether or not the Saturn version of Mega Man 8 will be used, or if all of the DLC for Mega Man 9 and 10 will be included. The Saturn-exclusive content for 8 has never been released outside of that version, so it would be nice to see it here.  For 9 and 10, it seems like a fairly safe bet that it will be since this is designed as a definitive way to play the games. The same art gallery/museum, and game remix challenges from the first Legacy Collection will be here too and the game will be released on August 8 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
