There are many ways to tackle objectives in upcoming open-world stealth-action game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. To highlight this fact, Konami has released a new video going through the missions featured during E3 but with different load-outs, strategies, and order. We also get a look at the different ways people can play MGSV, and also at sniper buddy Quiet's load-out. Most on point though, this video shows some of the sillier options available to players for moving around, or even assassinating a target. The range of tactical options seems about as crazy as you would expect from a Metal Gear title and some tactics definitely stand out in this video alone. At the end of the video there are even links to other gameplay showcases which highlight even more major options players can take when tackling an objective. As more gets revealed of this game, it is interesting to see the emerging light-heartedness that seems to be a stable of MGSV's recent outings. The lighter tone sort of conflicts with the darker emotional tone the game's videos and trailers had originally presented, here's hoping this inconsistency does not lead to an uneven experience that does not quite know what it is. So far though, the game definitely looks fun and seems like a very different Metal Gear than before.

Check out the new gameplay video below. Amusing Japanese narrator aside, there is plenty of new content here. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is coming September 1 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
