The upcoming Japanese Monster Hunter Championships are set to run in late April through May and feature the two latest Monster Hunter titles. Players will compete in Monster Hunter XX to see who can get the best time on select challenges and then go head to head in Monster Hunter Stories to prove who has the strongest teams. The winners of the Monster Hunter Stories battles will receive special amiibo made especially for the event, with first place receiving a gold amiibo and the runner up receiving a silver. For those attending, some special Monster Hunter themed item packs will be distributed throughout the event.

For those who might not have brought a game along with them, two upcoming Capcom titles will also be available for attendees to try out which includes Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bokken for 3DS and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers for Nintendo Switch.
