Monster Hunter Stories has been out for almost a year now in Japan, and with its recent release in the west, news of updates is especially exciting for fans and what they will be able to look forward to. During the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom announced the latest update which is set to include a new quest story line for players to participate in.

In addition to this, players will also be able to customize their character even further with more options and the ability to make them identical to NPCs or even characters only seen in the Stories anime series. Finally, the amount of monsties a player is able to keep will be increased from 200 to 400, so players will be able to horde even more monster companions.

The Monster Hunter Stories update is planned to launch in Japan this fall with no date revealed for the west just yet.
